Who Are We?

Careers in the Gulf don’t unfold the way most professionals expect.

Across the GCC, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman, job markets are shaped by far more than qualifications and experience. They move through strategy, relationships, timing, cultural fluency, regulatory frameworks, and national development agendas. Government priorities influence hiring. Networks accelerate decisions. Context matters as much as competence.

From the outside, career moves can appear unpredictable. From the inside, there is structure, but it’s a structure built on regional nuance, local knowledge, and an understanding of how influence and opportunity intersect.

We exist to make that structure visible.

We also know that the Gulf is not one single market. Saudi Arabia is not the UAE, Qatar operates differently from Kuwait, and Oman and Bahrain each have their own dynamics. That is why we build guidance for each country separately, rather than using one approach for all.

In a region where assumptions are costly and timing is critical, clarity becomes a competitive advantage.

That is what we aim to help you with.

Our story

Our background spans both sides of the hiring process, from guiding candidates in their career choices to taking part in recruitment and hiring across a range of professional fields and international settings.

Along the way, we noticed a recurring pattern: capable professionals being overlooked. Strong CVs that received no response. Promising interviews that led nowhere. Often not because the talent was missing, but because there was a gap between what the candidate offered and how it was presented.

In the GCC, qualifications open the door. How you position yourself helps determine whether it stays open.

That is why we created Work In GCC, a career hub for professionals looking to build their careers in Dubai, Riyadh, Doha and across the region. We offer practical guidance, structured roadmaps, in-depth eBooks, and one-on-one support for those who want it.

Our aim is to go beyond generic advice and share a perspective informed by experience with both recruitment and career guidance.

Because the right approach can make a real difference.
